- The funds to cover the eligible payments under the contract as specified above shall be from the Government of Nepal and Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA).
- The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), Grid Development Department, Chapali 132 kV Substation Project invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of Vehicle Mounted Cable Fault Locating Equipment.
- Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the office below. For electronic bidding the website is: http://www.nea.org.np/
- Bidding documents may be purchased during office hours on all working days by any eligible bidders upon submission of a written application, along with a copy of Company /Firm registration certifí~cate and accompanied by a bank voucher of the amount (Non-refundable) as specified in the table below towards the cost of the Bid Document,deposited in Chapali 132 kV Substation Project, NEA Deposit Account No. 04400105200204 ~at Everest Bank limited, Bagbazar, Kathmandu or by an account payee draft of the same amount issued in favor of ~ Chapali 132 kV Substation Project, NEA.
- ~All Bids accompanied by a bid bond (as specified below) must be delivered in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders latest by 12:00 hours (local time) on or before the dates specified and at the address given below.
- The bids shall be opened at the Project Office of Chapali 132 kV Substation Project, Chapali, Kathamandu at 12:30 hours (local time) on the last date of bid submission, in the presence of Bidder&rsquo~s representatives who choose to attend. Bids must be valid for a period specified belowcounting from the day of bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security as specified below, inclusive of VAT and shall be valid for mí~nimum 30 days beyond the bid validity period

- If the last date of Bid Document purchasing, submission and opening falls on a government holiday then the next working day shall be considered the last day. In such a case the bid validity and bid security shall be reorganised with effect from the origional bid submission deadline.
- Mode of Bidding is National Competitive Bidding (NCB).
- NEA reserves the right to accept or reject, any or all the bids, partly or wholly, or cancel the bid altogether, without assigning any reason whatsoever.
