Invitation for Bids for CONDITION MONITORING AND TESTING ON POWER HOUSE AND SWITCHYARD EQUIPMENT AT TRISHULI ~ HPS.

NEA, THPS invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of CONDITION MONITORING AND TESTING OF POWER HOUSE AND SWITCHYARD EQUIPMENT AT TRISHULI ~ HPS.

Funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for THPS-2074/075-E/ST-01 &ldquo~CONDITION MONITORING AND TESTING OF POWERHOUSE AND SWITCHYARD EQUIPMENT AT TRISHULI ~ HPS. &rdquo~ shall be from own funding of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA).

Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at below mentioned offices. For e-bidding, the website is: www.e-nea.org.np.

Bidding documents may be purchased from the above office of Trishuli Hydro Power Plant, Bidur,Nuwakot Nepal and office of Administration under Director, Medium Generation Operation and Maintenance Department, NEA, Durbar Marg, Kathmandu by eligible Bidders on the submission of a written application, along with attested copy of following documents:

Company registration certificate~

VAT and PAN registration certificate~

Renewed registration in Income tax office~

Tax clearance certificate~

A non-refundable Bank voucher of an amount NRs.3,000.00 deposited in the Account No. 018152C at Nepal Bangladesh Bank Battar, Nuwakot or

Local agents intending to purchase on behalf of their principals shall produce authorization from their principals along with bank voucher as mentioned in 4.1(e) above.

The bidders, who choose to submit their bid electronically through e-procurement section of NEA website www.e-nea.org.np, may either purchase the hard copy of the bidding documents directly from the office or download the necessary parts of the bidding documents from the website, prepare their bid and submit their electronic bids as specified in the instruction to bidders. In case the bidder chooses to submit the bid electronicallythrough e-procurement section of NEA website www.e-nea.org.np, the bidder shall be required to submit an ~

electronic scanned copy (*.pdf format) of the bank deposit voucher of non-refundable fee stated above along with the electronic bid files.

Sealed Bids must be submitted to the above office of Trishuli Hydropower Station, Nuwakot on or before 2074/12/01 12:00 hrs(Local time). Documents received after this deadline shall not be accepted.

Bids shall be opened in the presence of (or without, in case of absence) Bidders'~ authorized representatives who choose to attend 2074/12/01 14:00 hrs at the office of Trishuli Hydropower Station, Nuwakot

Bids must be valid for a period of 90 days counting from the day of bid opening and must be accompanied by bid security, amounting to a minimum of NRs.62,000.00 which shall be valid for minimum 30 days beyond the bid validity period. The bid bond shall either be in the form of Bank Guarantee drawn from any Commercial bank in Nepal in favour of TRISHULI Hydro Power Plant,  ~Bidur,  ~Nuwakot Nepal in the form provided in the Bidding document or Bank Voucher of same amount deposited in the account mentioned in 4.1(e) above.

If the last date of purchasing, submission and opening falls on a government holiday then the next working day shall be considered the last day. In such a case the bid validity and bid security validity shall be recognized with effect from the original bid submission deadline.

The Employer reserves the right to accept or reject, wholly or partly any or all the bids without assigning reason, whatsoever.

NEA shall not be responsible for any cost or expenses incurred by Bidders in connection with the preparation and submission of Bids.

Mode of Bidding is National Competitive Bidding (NCB).

Bids received with incomplete formalities shall not be entertained.
